A number of YesTT's proposals for increasing accountability in governance make sense. Or at the very least help trigger welcome debate and deliberation about a better way forward than the current model.

The most important issues in any new Constitution for T&T are:
1. Any Executive President must be elected by the majority vote of the entire electorate - this would end gerrymandeing and house padding

2. No Executive President should be allowed to serve for more than two terms of a maximum of 10 years

3. Voting for our Parliamentary Representatives must be based on mixed First Past the Post and Proportional Representation which will act as a check and balance to the executive powers of the President and represent true representation of the People
